In the upper drum the timber flooring has been removed to expose the iron railings below.
In the upper drum the timber flooring has been removed to
expose the iron railings below. These are now left ready for
inspection by the architect and the structural engineer, with
a view to repairing the landing stones which these iron
railings are bedded into.
