The carving of the dragons wings is now well under way
One of the stonemasons working a piece of stone
at the viewing platform level
One of 4 raised stone Dias' with a stainless steel fixing is
ready to accept one of the new carved Paterae
The new carved stone Paterae is now fixed under the
n/w corner of the viewing platform.
The mechanical lift has been left in place with bags
of soft sponge to protect the carving from damage
whilst works are being carried out at this level
