The carver modeling the top of a dragons head which is missing

The cleaners washing off dirty residue from the cleaning above

The Cibber relief has now had its initial clean and the carving
can been seen a lot more clearly.
The figure on the left portrays Prosperity and the one on the right Peace.

A new piece of Portland stone at the top of the drum

A new section of leaf & tongue carving is fixed in place and will be “trimmed in” after it has been pointed and grouted

The gilders have to get into very awkward places to ensure that every part of the surface is covered properly
