The scaffolding
Preparing the scaffolding

CWO start to remove paint from the iron cradle inside the
stone drum below the orb.

Dust and debris is cleaned away from areas where paint is to be removed.

Tape is applied to the iron work above and below to achieve a
straight line.

Wearing appropriate P.P.E, a peelaway paint removal compound is applied.

is applied using a plastic spatula.

Peelaway paper is used to cover the compound
The compound is covered with peelaway paper as per product
instructions.

This is then left for 24 hours (dwell time).

The paper and compound is then carefully removed with
a spatula, washed down with clean water and the
neutralised area is then treated with the solution supplied.
