The course of Acanthus leaf carving along the top of the pedestal panel
A new section of stone has been carved and fixed to an existing dragons wing
New carved section of tongue to a dragons mouth
Now that the scaffold is removed the dragons can be seen in all their glory
Repairs to the dragon on the s/e corner include a new carved talon
On the north lettered panel 2 new stones have been fitted and the letters cut by hand
A new carved stone dragons wing can be clearly seen after the scaffold has been removed
The fantastic carvings above the pedestal slowly come into view as the scaffold is removed
The scaffold is now being dismantled
