The scaffolding is completed (ahead of schedule) and officially handed over to the main contractor – Cathedral Works Organisation. For the first time, we can obtain close-up images of the Monument and its golden orb.

Work is underway on erecting site hoarding for the site perimeter
The railings on the east side (image taken 26th June 2007) were removed and taken away to be restored. They were found to be in good condition.
